Kiropraktiikkaa opiskellaan yliopistoissa ja korkeakouluissa. Koulutus
kestää keskimäärin 5 vuotta. Täysipäiväisen
opiskelun, tenttien sekä hyväksytyn lopputyön lisäksi
koulutus edellyttää vuoden pituisen klinikkaharjoittelun.
Harjoittelu tapahtuu klinikoilla, jotka toimivat koulujen yhteydessä.
Koulutus vastaa ensimmäisen 2-3 vuoden osalta lääkärikoulutuksen
vaatimuksia pääaineina mm. anatomia, fysiologia, patologia
ja radiologia (Delbetänkande av alternativmedicinkommittén.
